I certainly hope this post was directed at the general state of things in the arena, and not at Whels himself.  The fact that he was the only Nit on and was still getting things done was commendable.  It's most certainly not his fault that no one upped to defend their cv.

Call me a Pollyanna or whatever...

The word NAZI, to me, implies a politcal party, driven by a madman and a fervor of nationalism, fueled by Hitler's obvious insanity and hatred of the Jews.
Millions of people died during the WW2 years. Far too many.

I can deal with referrals such as German, Axis or Luftwaffe. "Nazi" leaves a bad taste in my brain. I suspect others feel the same way.

Trying to translate English into English, I think his point is, in the 3 country system with limited numbers on, even the lowly Ju88s can be unmolested. This little glitch will need to be worked out over time. BTW, 1000 bomber perks gets you what? a B29??????????

Just an FYI since the topic has sort of come up.  I fly for JG-3 UDET, primarily because they were the first squad who asked me to join way back when, and not because I have any great love for Germany, the Nazi's, or even flying German aircraft (which I don't, and rarily do unless it's a bf110).

Anyway, for the first time in the year and a half I've been flying here, about a week ago someone on an opposing side, after killing me in panzers and using what I think was a shade account, started gloating "I love killing Nazi's" and otherwise giving me a ration of s**t about being in a "Nazi" squadron.  Attempted friendly explanation about the historical concept of the game and benign representation by some squadrons of German Luftwaffe units fell on deaf ears.  Many rather nasty comments about glorifying Nazis, killing Jews, etc. were received from this individual throughout.  Conversation didn't last more than a couple of minutes as it was quickly evident that both he and it were pointless.

Thinking back on it afterwards, something about his tone suggested that he might have been less sincere in his diatribe as opposed to just wanting to bait someone for fun and pleasure.  This led me to deduce from checking his score history that this was most likely a long time (and accomplished) AH pilot riding a fairly recent new account, probably so he could engage in just this sort of behavior.

Given the real world attrocities of the German, Japanese and Italian nations during WWII, I would think such behavior and attitudes over these topics, directed at or about anyone playing with a historically representative squadron, would be seriously verboten in any form, at any time.

So, I'm wondering if this is true, and looking for any intelligent comments or observations about this incident and the topic as a whole.

I don't think jon gets it that whels wasn't only one on.  He got those perks because others were milking arena. and he was greatly out numbered. I switched 1 day to fight 12 -15 rooks . i changed from rook to nit killed 3 lancs in 163  got 200 or so perks for defending against milkers made over 1k perks in 3 hrs fighting rooks alone, until REsmith came on to help me. then we took 12 rook bases. I would kill towns re   would m3. or i would cover him kill ing towns in a plane. was landing 60 to 100 perks every sortie. at 1 time eny bonus was upto 60.25.

complaing that wheels got perks for fighting horde is well STUPID....................... .............................

... Shame there isnt a button on the game that castrates the guy talking to you. I cannot stand people like that, I have heard that one too many times in real life and recently nearly got suspended for a fight resulting from a conversation like that.
