« on: April 11, 2000, 09:31:00 PM »
Sorry Pyro if this is redondant.  But I still can't join any H2H session. The screen freezes when I click on a room then after about 20 seconds it dumps me back to the desktop. Also when I try to host a session it just kicks me back directly to the Intial H2H folder. Is it just me or is this a known problem and a ptach is in the works?> Please help. Thank You <S>

We are addressing these and other H2H issues in the next patch.  There still may be a bug or two that we'll have to find.

Tnks Roni. I just tried to get into H2H tonight after auto updating! No luck, same deal. Host Connection Lost.

I wondering if I should wipe the game and start from scratch, thoughts? Also autoupdate wouldn't work for me from the H2H screens.

Puter asked me to autoupdate, and I wanted to, no luck. I got the auto update to work by trying to join the main arena, allthough I cant play there for obvious reasons, LOL, S!

Ok, HT just found one more problem.  If you're having a H2H freeze, it may be caused if you don't have a game id in AH.  Go online with the account you created and enter the one of the arenas.  You'll be prompted to enter a game id.  Pick one and then try H2H again.  Let me know if this fixes you or not.  Thanks.

Our squad tested the H2H last night, which resulted in a huge success

I hosted the server.  If I put the player limit to 8, people had trouble logging on.  I dropped it to 7 and all went smoothly after that.

The gameplay was very smooth and I didn't notice any significant FR drop even when there was 7 players logged in. I think I saw 3 minor warps during the whole evening   One pilot was disconnected but he managed to rejoin instantly after that.  Every time a player joined the arena, my screen froze for about a second.  No big deal   I'm running a Celeron 566@637, 192MB, Voodoo3 3000k.

Those players that hadn't visited the Main/Training/SE Arena yet had the "newU###" id.

Here's a screenshot of us forming up for a bombing mission:

Moose from the European Air Force and Ricky were visiting our training session.

HTC, a million thanks for the H2H!
