Hastert & Reid are native Washington crooks. What these idiots don't seem to get is how these stories get "spun" in places like Iran. They take pleasure pointing these things out as further evidence our politicians are hypocrites, liars, crooks and cant be trusted about anything... like Foley, a Chester, fighting against other Chesters... just trying to eliminate the competition, eh?
The congressional page program has been described as tantamount to N. Koreas "Joy Brigade", where youngsters are sent to service the drunk creepy old 'leaders'.. repub & dem examples of blatant abuse abound.
My wifes sister (from Iran) asked me... So this is the "freedom" the USA insists is best for the mid east?, where elite crooked officials bankrolled by a party scam the system with friends? Iran already has that, what is so great about the American way of being crooked? they get more than two choices at the polls.
Other countries look at how two parties have taken total control of our politics by bankrolling only the loyal who will vote in lock step, how the two sides do almost nothing but bicker like children while the country continues down the same road of decay... and then how our already rich elected leaders, get very rich with shady backdoor deals.
They'd love to get rid of the power hungry crooks in Iran, and have more freedoms... but then what?, replace them with "American style" crooks / liars? like Hastert, Foley, Delay, Clintons & Reid?... can you blame them, or any country, for rejecting the notion we have a system so superior its worth spreading around the world when clowns like these represent "The American way"? in the eyes of other countries?
I guess these clones are too stupid to figure out other countries read about this stuff too, or they just dont give a puke because they have made their millions and can leave office laughing all the way to the bank.
