STUTTER!!!

Hi guyz,

I also got the stutter problem, every 2 sec
Tried just bout everything with help from a PC tech but no result.
I noticed in prev msgs to write down system spec so here it comes:

Compaq Presario 5170
64 mb Ram, 5.6 GB HD
Geforce 2MX (PCI)

Conflicting IRQ's:

IRQ 11   NVIDIA GeForce2 MX
IRQ 11   Intel 82371AB/EB universele host-controller voor PCI naar USB
IRQ 11   IRQ Holder voor PCI-steering
IRQ 11   IRQ Holder voor PCI-steering
IRQ 14   Primaire IDE-controller (dubbele fifo)
IRQ 14   Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller
IRQ 15   Secundaire IDE-controller (dubbele fifo)
IRQ 15   Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller

Some words r in dutch but I guess U guys can figure that out

Are you using any USB devices, such as a USB joystick?

disable a serial port and get your vid card and PCI to USB controller on their own IRQ's.

Does it happen online and offline?  If only online, remove any icons that blink on the taskbar when connected.  (Like a modem icon.)  There are numerous posts about this problem.

He may not be able to Eagler.

Chances are the USB bus runs on the same IRQ as the PCI slot he has the video card plugged into.

Im using the Micrsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro Plus
(let windows pick driver) connected to my USB port.
It happens both off and online.
Eagler thats greek to me buddie  
Could ya tell me how to get own IRQ's for hardware?

Hmm

downloaded game controller software from this site http://www.microsoft.com/products/hardware/sidewinder/downloads/default.htm#Soft_GC
and the 3D patch and it seems to work now
no more STUTTERS yeeha but a bit embaressed
A friend of mine gave me the stick and I didnt know the stick was also called Precision Pro
But should of checked that site anyway, ya can all kick my butt when I fly online ok guyz
