Game Voice

I'm thinking about purchasing Game Voice Hardware but I want to make sure it works for Aces High.  I like the channel selection button.  Does anyone know if it works?

Quite a few of us in our squad use GameVoice and it works well with AcesHigh. I can talk to all in the "chat room" or any combination of pilots at the touch of a button. I admit I was a bit skeptical about the voice recognition commands but I particularly like being able to give voice commands instead of taking my eyes off of the screen to find a key on the keyboard.

If you do get it and you setup voice commands, avoid using words that may sound identical, and if a command isn't executing everytime play with the spelling of the word, what I mean is spell it how it sounds until you get an execution everytime it is spoken.

edited for spelling *sheesh*

Hey Pyroman,
My squad the death rattlers are switching over to Game Voice. So far it has worked great for us. Also, being able to jsut say words to do thing like raise flaps or lower gear is pretty cool. The voice quality is way better that Roger Wilco.

Pigs are switching to gamevoice as well.  There 1.3 beta client is nice, and there is also a 1.3 beta dedicated server.  The dedicated server can be run as a Win2k service and left on all the time.  You can also specify a port to use... very sweet.

We haven't used it much yet, but so far it looks like the ticket.
