Europe v. US, on freedom from intrusion

this topic is honestly the last thing I am concerned about.  I typically deal with big brother once a year, April 15th.  The only people that seem to be harping here are misinformed, far as I can tell.  You guys need to figure out a way to deal with islamic fanatics, rogue nations and nuclear weapons, and if you say the US is a rogue nation with nuclear weapons and is the greatest threat to whirrled peas then Im happy for you.  You know the old saying: "Better to have people think your an idiot then to say something and remove all doubt".

But seriously america served her purpose, she was really the first of her kind. She showed the world that the people should, and had the power to, hang kings and redistribute the power to the people.

Now america is serving the world again as filling the role of "terrible reminder" that the singular most important factor for the longevity of the "every man a king" system is the uncompromised vigilance of the citizens.

I like to think of myself as an optomistic realist. America has faltered and is stumbling, lost her way. She will soon fall and starve. Perhaps something worthwile will come of her rebirth, or perhaps something horrible.

Speaking for myself, if I was responsible for offspring, I would be moving my lineage to sunnier shores.
