TraceRoute Inside Pyro
« on: February 05, 2000, 10:29:00 PM »
Typically I have a pretty good connect to AH thru AT&T Net, averaging around 180-220ms with no packet loss.

However over the past couple of weeks, occaisonally I will lose connect and can't even re-connect for about 10 mins.

Tonight I had just logged around 11:25 PM Eastern, and was checking the BBS, when I noticed the connect went dead. So I grabbed a traceroute, and it was pretty typical of when this happens.

Here it is. Note that the two routers showing 100% loss on the upstream are always like that, they don't respond to ping packets.

Thanks Verm, that's just what we needed.  I've sent a copy of your trace to our provider and will get it up to Savvis.
