I understand the boards are good for venting anger & frustration, but what's wrong with a bit of "in-game peer pressure"?

If you see a team-mate playing in what may be a gamey or negative manner, why not have a quiet word in their ear?

There may be a good reason for their actions and it gives them an opportunity to respond and other players to give their opinion.

This obviously needs to be done in a non confrontational manner e.g.

"Whisky, you've just blasted thro' this furball in your Dora and I know you're doing a good job vulching the cons upping down there, but we're struggling a bit up here and your help would be appreciated if possible."

If others make same suggestion then behaviour modification should result.:)

Trouble is too much smack talk on intercom.

"Whisky, stop ****ing about & get your a** up here" is not likely to get  a result.

(Whisky <-----  ground into polite diplomacy by years of hard parenting teenagers)

How sad and pathetic are dweebs
that only post in prose :furious

They rant and beat a point to death
when right under their nose

A simple search would soon reveal
the point was settled years ago

in towering piles of flaming posts
reduced to "I like it so"

Fly how you like
like what you fly
don't regulate
the other guy

Just venting some bad poetry  :aok

The Runway Bash

It's a runway bash
now yer plane is trash
blown up in a flash
it's a runway bash

If I make you whine
that's a definite sign
that it must be fine
when I cross that line

for a runway bash
it'll settle yer hash
cause I pay my cash
for a runway bash

Some will think it's wrong
like Silat's thong
so you must be strong
follow me along

make a runway bash
leave some smoking ash
then away we'll dash
from a runway bash

:D

It doesn't matter how they get a kill, they just want a kill.

What they fail to realize is that this game isn't about getting kills.   It's about having fun with the person you are fighting with and against.

It's what you say Kermit. It's quite simple to understand. And, all this changing arenas this way and that way is basically just a method to try and get the two different worlds (worm and non-worm) to get along in some way or another. Basically speaking that is. My .02

Its a sad thing to see, and those guys will not get any better at the game, because they wont risk themselves to actually learn anything. If they get caught, they just flail around and either auger or get shot down, so they roll another LA-7 and climb to 18k again, for another 600mph pass at another base, to HO some dude rolling on the runway, because they cant score any other way, I guess.
