I have this tank gun file, and I want to make it louder. I have my sounds up, its just that the file sound seems kinda low, because my engine is loader than the tank gun. Could anyone tell me how I could edit this sound file?

Ick. Never use your default Windows sound recorded for any purpose whatsoever.
Get Goldwave, Record Pad, Cool Edit, or Sound Forge.

Goldwave is free, and Sound Forge and Record Pad have very long free trial periods.
