F1 - bye to a Legend
« on: October 22, 2006, 03:57:05 PM »
Schumi leaves the podium after finishing his 250th Grand Prix...
...after 15 years racing (surviving and allmost unhurd, just broke his leg once!)
i say thanks for the great fun we had all those years watching you race against so
many different drivers.
I still have all his races on video, first race in 1991, and his first Win 1992,
the first title win 1994, today it was the last race recording on dvd, finishing
the Schumacher time.
With your 7 World Champion titles you will be remebered as on of the
best racing drivers of all time.
Bout time to concentrate on your family and leave the crazy F1 circus behind! ;)

Considering what happened to him today, he still showed his competitiveness and came darn close to a  podium finish!

Was a good race. Im sure MS would have been competitive for a few more years. Next season is going to be awesome i think given the new team/driver combinations. I hope that crappy McLarren team can get their cars running so Alfonso can get a chanse to prove if he is any good or if its just the Renaults that are excellent. We will also finally see if Raikkonen is as good as many belive he is when he gets a decent ride.

Renault and Kovalainen will also be fun to watch. I had hopes for Fisi but he has driven like an old lady all year.

I root for teams, never drivers and my heart is and has always been with Bennetton/Renault.

I HATE FERRARI!. FERRARI SUCKS!

Sigh...no more schumacher...

Red hot race pace ...fantastic moves on Raikkonen and the first pass on Fisi - which ended his race basically..but great fight back from last!

Never been much of a Schumacher fan and personally won't miss him much. But no one can deny his unequalled skill. Today was an awsome example - starts on 5th row, loses nearly a lap to a tire puncture, and still manages to finish 4th.

Eh, He would have been a Kerry Earnhardt level NASCAR driver.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

What is that? Is that those tin cans that can only go in one direction until someone flips them the other way? :p
