Guys i was talking to skuzzy the other day and it appears they are looking for some new terrian tiles and was thinking of getting people to submitt new ones.

it looks like they want a full set for all the seasons, or at least spring summer and autum.

could be a good opituanity for all you guys who have some terrain tiles to get them put in the game for new maps?

We need to get the new snow tile submitted, for too long "rocky" and "snowy" have been confused.

I've got a ton of terrain tiles stocked up. I've been collecting/making em for over a year now. Here's a couple water textures I've made. I've got lots more, but these are my newest. I really need to get a downloadable texture package out there. I'm thinking of submitting the darker one, since it looks more like the default water color.

Dark one is very nice.

Another one we need is a shallow water tile for island maps. Sort of a South Pacific look where you can almost see the sea floor under the water.

And beaches, we really need beaches.

The dark one IS very nice. But it's not seamless.

Does anyone have the water texture used on "DesertStorm6"? I tried loading the map to get a picture, but it seems the terrain became obsolete the past few months.

It wasn't at the time of the pic, but after careful pixel by pixel coloring & shading, it is. I'll have to whip out a newer pic.

Yeah, if I could see a pic of the darker one which is seamless, I think I would preffer that one over the brighter one for the project. The one I picked is not seamless at all, and it's quite visible when flying over 3K.
