AAA accuracy
« on: October 26, 2006, 11:33:22 PM »
Hi,

what i always found strange is the behaviour of the AAA while deacking a base. If i fly simply strait, without to turn much, the AAA will fail, while it hit very often when i turn.

Imho this should be the other way around. This can be archived by giving the AAA less dispersion and a offset while turning around.

In this way the AAA would hit you more often, as more you fly strait toward it, but not that often, if you turn hard.

Currently deacking a base is so incredible easy, its like the aaa dont shoot, while i always fear the Flak(high alt).

I would like, if i could influence my luck by turning/rolling instead of flying strait, specialy close to CV´s this probably would help to survive.

btw, i find it strange that .30cal almost cant harm a aaa anymore and .50cals also need a VERY long burst(to long??).

Greetings,

Knegel

Field ack is just funny.  If don't want to get hit, get as low as you can and fly straight.  As long as you fly in straight lines you can deack with no or minimal danger.
IMO, field ack should kill you. Otherwise, why have it?

Yep, exactly thats it!!

As faster u be and as more you turn, as more it hit, thats simply wrong!

It would need much more skill, to deack a field if you need to turn while shooting. Then Rockets and bombs would be more sencefull, same like highspeed attacks and also vulchers would get more problems.
