in reality, if you maneuver a plane into the ground, you are usually awarded the kill, it's historically accurate

but thats not how the games works..  i have shot down many people but got killed before they bailed or died and the closest person got the kill. even though i did 100% of the work. or i would be on the ground and not doing anything and some guy shoots them down, but he dies and they crash next to me and i suddenly have 3 kills. didnt do nothing

ya what handy said, just doesnt seem right.Flying someone into the ground is one thing but to geta prox kill just cuz ur the closest plane seems to pad the score.I dont offer a solution for this but getting rid of the prox kills would atleast be more accurate..............:aok

Its no worse than a guy who sprays a flight of buffs with all his ammo to no effect, just a lot of hit sprites that don't do any damage, then ends up gliding deadstick and missing parts, but they guy who lights it on fire or kills the pilot with a well-aimed precision burst and doesn't even take a hit only gets an assist.

Just the way the scoring system works sometimes.

Notice the guy who gets the kill for nothing is never the one to complain though... :)
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
