Was looking at the speed charts and RoC charts for the 38s to see which 38 is modeled faster in AH. Each chart was the same for each 38 in speed and RoC and we all know the 38G is the slowest of the 3.

Just curious how all these charts could be the same. Its not that big of an importance to me of it getting fixed anytime soon but could it get looked at?

P 38J and L are the same. The G model is different. First of all it doesn't have WEP but that's obvious. At sea level it's slower than the other two and although the top end speed at higher altitudes appears the same I'm sure the lack of power affects the acceleration to get to those speeds.

The G's climb rate is also less than the other two. It starts at 3k fpm at sea level and finishes at 1.5k fpm at 30k. The other two start and stay above these numbers at all altitudes.

The J is slightly faster than the L. 5mph or so.

Only at certain altitudes. Most of the band below 25k it's dead-even with its brother.

As modeled in the game, Speed and climb differences between the P-38J and P-38L are negligible... Virtually no difference. HTC does not model the full power factory rating of the Allisons in the P-38L (1,725 hp vs 1,600 hp in the J model). They model the standard power rating used by the AAF to increase reliability at high altitude.
