Flash Programs

I want to mess around with flash animation software, but don’t know much about it.  My highest ambition would be to make a game like Samorost ( http://www.samorost.net/samorost1/ )  If you have used any particular software please let me know what you think of it.  I’m not yet interested enough to spend hundreds and never buy the top of the line of anything, so please gear recommendations toward the “good enough and yet affordable” spectrum.

free 30 day trials of flash @ adobe.com (macromedia was swallowed whole)

you can easilly find older versions of flash to learn on first if you'd like.  

what they did is not hard to do at all.

learn about objects on the stage and timeline first.  

if you are anything like me, you're first animation will hook you.
