Aircraft Request Emails
« on: November 11, 2006, 11:27:44 AM »
Acting as CIC of a Friday Frame is a lot of responsibility. Part of this responsibility is sending out Aircraft Requests to your side before you sit down and write the orders.

When you are a CIC for a Friday Frame. You should take the initiative and mail out your Aircraft Requests on Saturday or Sunday. You may not even have the orders yet, But you can always go ahead and check out the current FSO tour and send your Aircraft Requests out.

Ive heard numerous complaints of this not happening recently, Forced to fly aircraft they would rather not for multiple tours. CIC's and Squad CO's should be actively pursuing one another, trading emails through the ahevents.org website. The more communication we have, the stronger FSO becomes.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Well this seems like a good place to mention....

Hello All Allied Commanders
Please take a moment to verify that you have your correct plane requests on for your squad on the Events website http://ahevents.org/site for Frame 2.

Alternately, please forward your requests to me directly at Kurt@planetstupid.com (make sure to tell me your squad name if your email address is different from the events site).

Objectives have not been received yet, but none the less, the sooner I have your preference the sooner you'll see the orders.

Thanks for your help!
