it was more blatantly obviously a while ago, not that it should matter to anyone. certainly doesnt matter to me.

i definitely like this bugsbunny guy though, he is polite, to the point, and mature in his arguements. a vast improvement over alot of forum users.

agreeing to disagree is a good way of ending a heated debate, and ending a heated debate is a good way of keeping things in relative peace.

Well, before Skyrock came to his senses, I was about to say...

"Am I the only one who thinks that if this kid dies, he got off easy?"

No one made him take drugs.

No one made him steal.

No one made him rob from someone who actually helped him and his family in the past.

Sympathy for this guy should end when you realize that he's robbed Skyrock 3 times now. That's no accident. That's no one-time thing.

The definition of insanity is "to expect different results from the same actions." Before now, the actions taken against this kid were "Nothing" and he came back twice more to steal again. Do to "nothing" again is, by definition, insane.

Criminals count on the sympathies of society to let them commit crimes again.

I hope the kid get's the cr@p beat out of him by someone, and that he knows why...

Good greif, if people think it's OK to shoot a burgular as he's entering the house to steal your stuff, why is wishing he *were* dead after the fact a big problem?

How many times should he get away with robbing people before someone does something? 5? 10? 20? How do we know he hasn't already - we're just talking about one guy's house, you know.

Just went through the entire thread, couldn't find anyone who wished this kid to die... did I miss something? All I found were hopes that justice would be served once he's out of the woods.

Besides feeling bad for SkyRock, who has obviously been robbed and betrayed by someone he brought into his home and taught, I also feel bad for the kid's family, who are going to be living this particular nightmare for quite a while.

The kid? A little, he's made his bed and now will have to lie in it, literally. I hope he gets the help he so obviously needs, but with the way the justice system works, it's unlikely he'll get more than a reduced sentence and a schooling in inmate hierarchy.

Keep in mind items stolen are just as stolen if the person is 5 or 50.... a person dead, is just as dead no matter if someone is 5 or 50...

Doesn't matter if they were taking drugs, drinking, or out for a good time.
It was their choice to do those chemicals or to take that action.

If we keep protecting such folks as the weak or lazy... and also subsidizing them, they will continue to spawn more weak and lazy thereby weakening your nation.

Bottom line; The Person is responsible for their own actions.... not anything or anyone else.

SkyRock, doesnt sound like much of a suggestion, but very well may be of use..Around here the "Goodwill" store has second hand computer systems for $225 or less. They are in the P4 range with 256-512 of memory.

You candor regarding this situation is admirable and presented very well. My respect to you Sir!

For any who dont realize this. The 19 year old made his decisions. Dont hand me the line about it being the "drug" that caused this to happen. Thats a line of lunacy in itself. The drug couldnt pick up SkyRocks gear, couldnt break in, nor did it force itself on the perp..... The USER did it on his on!

I cannot say that I would have the concerns for this punk, that SkyRock has shown. Nor would I likely have much in the way of pity for the family. They share the blame for it happening. Dont tell me they didnt notice a problem.
