I'd have to say aggressively defensive. Best way I can put it.

1. Are you a bzn pilot our a furball twist and turn.
Clearly an angles or energy fighter, depending on the planes involved.  I have always lacked the patience to do b&z.

2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours.
Looks like I do something like 22-23 hours/month.

3. Aggressive our smart could be both.
Aggressive...probably.  Smart, definitely not.

4. Do you carry eggs our extra ammo.
No.

5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.
Low.  The planes I'm in generally start coughing above 10k, and my nose bleeds.

6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde our run and find a better fight.
Heh.  I wish I could find a large red dar bar.  If I could, I would go for it.

7. Do you fly late war our early war.
In AvA we fly all of them, but my preference has always been the early war planes, where you actually have to do some maneuvering in order to get a kill.

8. Do you da our ta.
No.  Probably I should have the TA people teach me some things, but I think my slowness to learn would frustrate them.

9. Vulch our a nonVulcher
I've never understood the point of vulching, and I absolutely hate being vulched, so, no.

10. rtb with 10 our 2
.....er....you mean, like living to tell the tale?  Rarely.

:D

does anyone seriously expect me to believe they don't take the most ammo possible in any plane?

i consider all the above planes to have 'limited ammo' settings rather than 'extra ammo' options.

just enough fuel to get the job done.
the most powerfull gun package but with the least amount of ammo .. and if its to much ammo ya lose a few rnds befor the fight ...  You cant fool me . I set my plane up the same way in the MA if im hunting someone .(like the 80th guys :D )

1. Are you a bzn pilot our a furball twist and turn.

I love to stall fight

2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours.

between 2 and 30 hours a month

3. Aggressive or smart could be both.

aggresive even if I am flying a goon.

4. Do you carry eggs our extra ammo.

Extra ammo, i take bombs if they are needed, sometimes i do use drop tanks

5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.

Usually below 10,000, though I did fly the 152 at well over 30K deep into NME territory just to stir em up

6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde our run and find a better fight.

Never run from a fight (thats why I get dead a lot)

7. Do you fly late war or early war.

Prefer early war, but in the LW arena I will commonly use LA-7's (mainly so that ppl can't run from me) and last night I was in a spit-1 in LW

These are my kills stats for tour 81 (those kills in the 9-T were with single shots from the 37mm :) )

Model type           Kills In
Hurricane Mk IIC        3
Ju 88                   3
Yak-9T 3
A6M2 2
Ta 152H 2
Yak-9U 2
Mosquito Mk VI 2
F4F-4 2
Chute 2
Bf 109F-4 1
Spitfire Mk I 1
P-40E 1
Bf 110C-4b 1
F6F-5 1
La-5FN 1
FM2 1
Boston III 1
D3A1 1
B5N2 1
Ar 234 1
Il-2 1

8. Do you da our ta.

DA on rare occaions, TA alot when I am board of the arenas

9. Vulch our a nonVulcher

Yep I vulch, but I dont blow past 20 cons to do it.

10. rtb with 10 our 2

If I am bingo fuel or ammo, or have serious damage I always try to get my bird home unless there is a good reason to auger.

But on more than one occasion I have turned back to assist another friendly, when I have had no ammo.....

Chalk me up in that group. I never take the P-47s up with full ammo. I always use the 8x.50 low ammo loadout.
Exception is when strafing stuff, then I might use the large ammo loadout. That's if I remember to change it.

I don't have the patience or discipline to energy fight, I turnfight.
2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours.
Probably closer to 100, I'm President of the local IHNL club.
3. Aggressive our smart could be both.
More aggressive and certainly NOT smart.
4. Do you carry eggs our extra ammo.
Depends on what I'm planning to do.
5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.
Usually lower than higher.
6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde our run and find a better fight.
Usually I fly right into a horde, occasionally find anoather fight.
7. Do you fly late war our early war.
Mid War most of the time.
8. Do you da our ta.
I'm a glutton for punishment and like headaches, I fly TA way too much.
9. Vulch our a nonVulcher
More often than not when I try to vulch I just make a gopher hole.
10. rtb with 10 our 2
I've landed 2 quite frequently but only 10 in ship guns, never a plane.

FYI, IHNL stands for I Have No Life. :)

What's so unusual about fighting with drop tanks still on? Extra gas for longer loiter time, that you can cut loose if you need to reduce weight. Sometimes I wish we could dump internal fuel, too. :D
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Obie303...started flying in 7/06

1. Are you a bzn pilot our a furball twist and turn.
I would have to consider myself a stall fighter.

2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours
I'm lucky to fly 15-20 hours a tour.

3. Aggressive our smart could be both.
Flying by the seat of my pants since I started.

4. Do you carry eggs our extra ammo.
         Ony when I need to.

5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.
Usually from 5 feet to 5k.  I get shot down before I can get higher.

6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde our run and find a better
         fight.

Don't see too many large red dar bars when I'm on.  If I did, I
         prefer a fair fight.

7. Do you fly late war our early war.
         Early War.

8. Do you da our ta.
I should spend some time in the TA but dont have the time.

9. Vulch our a nonVulcher
Non Vulcher!  And a non-HO'er too!

10. rtb with 10 our 2
Lucky to return to base with all my parts intact.

As a new player to AHII, I would like to add that since I've been here, I've met some very nice people and would like to say thanks to the ones that have tried to help me.
