No, not really. In fact, most of the conservatives are seriously PISSED at Bush, and the Republicans in general. If the Democrats could offer a viable alternative as opposed to what they continue to offer, they'd get our votes.
When all they offer is higher taxes, more abortions, gay marraige, gun bans, and a chicken **** foreign policy, they have nothing to offer us, and everything they think they offer is everything that keeps them from getting our votes.
Yep. Pretty much.
If they'd just keep taxes the same, didn't push for gun bans, and had a little backbone, they'd be fine by me...
I don't care what their stance is on abortion or gay marriage. Those aren't exactly nation crippling issues, despite what people from both sides have you think...
... Which is why, when dems keep harping on those two issues as "major," I roll my eyes and vote Republican. At least the GOP discusses more important issues and offers some sort of a plan...
There was a really funny segment on the Daily Show the other day... A Democratic campaign add where it was just a white screen with the wind blowing for fifteen seconds, followed by "My name is yada yada yada and I approve this message"
