Embarrassing Movie Acronyms
« on: November 03, 2006, 07:32:36 PM »
Military people and game players tend to talk in acronym shorthand, as shown in many references to SPR for Saving Private Ryan.

Careful as movie productions are, surely there must be some embarrassing acronyms that have survived as movie titles released to theaters.

But ... I can't think of any.  Can you?

BOF (Bride of Frankenstein)

TT (The Thing)

Gotta be some better than those ...

(after quick look through movie guide)

The movie proofreaders are good ... only nice little acronyms, the stuff of word association in Mensa and SAT exercises,

FIB (Funeral in Berlin)

NOTE (Not of This Earth)

TOE (Terms of Endearment)

COW (City of Women)

... can you tell it's a slow Friday night?

How about GAL (Get a Life)?
