Wow, nice cockpit!  Everything looks to be in the right places too, but the artificial horizon looks pooched!

Looks nice. I'm all for the fine details such as ammo counters for those that had them and none for those that did not. Same with trim.
Then again most planes that did not had armourers that added 50 rounds of tracers to the ammo belts to let the pilot know when he was about done.

Jane's had excellent graphics for 1998.  Untouchable(BTW what ever happened to the "Hammer")

I think our downloads would be huge if that much detail were incorporated in AH.

Janes WWII was great.
The ambient was incredibly good.
The only big problem for me was the visibility, due to the ardennes terrain and the wintertime.

Realy, flying around, you wingman telling you he sees bandits and you don't see nuttin'

Still a great game, also online!  :)

I have ADSL so downloading 100-200megs file is not a problem. Biggest download was +600megs (Linux iso)  :D

Maybe there could be two sets of graphics: One like now and another for players with enough bandwith to download and power to run them. Cockpit graphics are running "old" if you compare them to new sims thought ground graphics are still great IMO. Of course these might be in the new version already with couple new vehicles and all.

Janes WW2 was very nice for the graphics, especially the custom skins where I finally could fly my Gabby P47!!!!
But the flight model was miserable, the AI too. I recall 262s not able to catch a Spit9 hehehe.
Dat jugs bro.
