Election result quote
« on: November 09, 2006, 10:22:12 AM »
This past election day has left me fairly depressed obviously but there is some humor that made me chuckle finally today after browsing the regular venues of evil neo-con literature that may cheer up a few of you other evil neo-cons a bit... humor intended of course...

Quote
"In a choice between Republicans' "Stay until we win" Iraq policy or the Democrats' "Stay, leave ... stay for a while then leave ... redeploy and then come back ... leave and stay ... cut and run ... win, lose or draw policy," I guess Americans prefer the Republican policy.

The Democrats say we need a "new direction" in Iraq. Yeah, it's called "reverse." Democrats keep talking about a new military strategy in Iraq. How exactly is cut-and-run a new strategy? The French have been doing it for years. The Democrats are calling their new plan for Iraq "Operation Somalia."

The Democrats certainly have their work cut out for them. They have only two years to release as many terrorists as possible and lock up as many Republicans as they can. Republicans better get that body armor for the troops the Democrats are always carping about -- and fast. The troops are going to need it for their backs."

Freedom lost on the 7th I believe, and the next several years of attempted war crimes trials and possible impeachment hearings cant be good or helpful
for the USA... The Terrorists won on so many levels the other day!!

This past election day has left me fairly depressed

Here's my personal quote that I live by.

"I'm successful in Spite of who's in office, not Because of it."

Was too busy working to be depressed over the elections :)

Business is better than ever.

My personal income better than ever.

Economy is booming, unemployment is low.

Dem's aren't going to mess with anything too much.  Too easy to point to them if a downturn occurs.  Life goes on.

Bush comments the day after the election were proof enough for me that the guy needs to go.   He is about as unplugged from the day to day life in  America as any american living here can get.

"Stay until we win" vs. "Cut and Run".  Some people need to stop thinking in the either/or binary terms pushed by the media and realize that there are more than just two options to deal with the Iraq war.

Those that voted against the (now) former congressional leadership did not necessarily vote for a cut and run policies.  Get over it.

speaking about "reverse! the biggest mistake was to start this crap iraq
war at all,
a war, where people still today think about the reasons and why,
imagine that!

At least you got the bad boy Saddam, he is dead soon, mission accomplished?

The Democrats have been in power for a couple of days and already they lost the war in Iraq.

lols  It's easy to see how this one is going to play.  Some people are going to quickly forget that it turned to crap over years of Republican oversight.

The timeline is going to go, "Clinton letting Osama blow up the Twin Towers to the Democratic House and Senate losing Iraq....with nothing in between.

From what I understand or have browsed reading that is a plan supported by the dem leaders?!
I think more of us are in agreement over illegal imigration, party line bs aside regardless of how GWB reacted to or didn't react to imigration concerns which was a huge mistake...

How does anyone threaten to penalize several million illegal immigrants with anything other then amnesty when faced with a possible Paris type of riot or uprising or whatever they have going on over in yourup with the immigrant muslims..

let them uprise.

law is law.

fix it so they can emigrate easier, be accounted for and accept US only citizenship if you want to be liberal about it.
