Yes????  The house does in fact investigate, and if legitimate grounds for impeachment are found, impeachment is filled by the house, and moved onto the Senate for trial.....

Again... so what?

Both Clinton and Johnson were acquitted of the charges against them.

LOL, so was Michael Jackson. Wanna let your kid go over for a sleepover?

Seriously though, it is time for a change. The Republicans have screwed it up royally in many areas, might as well toss it to the Democrats for a while.

Frankly I am just as disgusted with the present administration as I was with Clinton's. And while a Nancy Pelosi run House doesn't exactly fill me with the warm fuzzies, booting Rumsfield does.

Oh, hi Thrawn, banana, and Rip!

Now Sandman... I'm sorta on your side on this one... sorta.

Baseless accusations can be made about anything. However, acquittal does not equal innocence. I don't really want to get into another "It's all Clinton's fault" discussion, 'cause it ain't. It is fair to state Clinton's perjury is a matter of public record. Acquittal or not, he broke the law. Enough about ol' Bill.

My real reason for posting is to make good on something I once said... that if the Republicans behaved just as badly as the Democrats had prior to winning control of government I'd just as quickly condemn them and call for their ouster. Well, I am a man of my word. It's hard to imagine the party screwing up any worse, and I'm ready for the nightmare to end.

About the best thing that can be said for the Bush administration is they managed to pick a couple of very qualified judges for the Supreme Court. Beyond that I can't see much else going for them.

Yeah, sure. Back in the late 70's my dad split and left my mom with 4 kids. She had to get state help. It wasn't a collect a check kind of thing, you had to train for a career. She chose to learn soldering and schematics, was hired by raytheon right out of training and never looked back. Worked two jobs to support us, says her lowest point was having to go on welfare.

All her kids do pretty well, own their own homes and live clean lives. I would say it was a pretty good investment by the state.
