I guess the guys who drive the trucks, fly in the hardware, feed the troops, repair equipment, treat the sick and wounded, they don't count, huh?
What about those guys who served and were blessed that no war was raging at the time, I suppose they don't get a salute either?
Anyone who raised his right hand and put on the uniform, did so with the understanding that they may find themselves in combat. Everyone of those guys deserves respect.
At least they showed up...
