Impressive stuff guys, what software do you use to create these?

Roger, its looking good but the undercarriage area appears a little off to me. The wheels seem too big to fit into the wheel wells and the fairings stick out a bit too far in front of the leading edge. Defining the canopy area better would make a big difference IMO.

yes  i am still learning and still doing little bits.

i understand what you mean Greebo  but considering my first 2 attempts  this is 100% better.

I still finding it hard to work in a 3d and not 2 d just playing to see what i can do.

got to fill in time till combat tour comes out .

Sorry if my previous post sounded too negative Roger, I was just trying to be constructive. I'm impressed with what you've done so far on the Hawk, in fact its got me interested in doing some 3D models.

Greebo i respect your coments as well as all the other  skinners here, you guys have been doing these sorts of things a lot longer then me.

ive got two programs 3dmax7  which is one of the top range programs but has to many whistles and bells for me to figure out,i mean it took me long enough to figure out layers in paint shop pro.

The one i am using for the p36 is ac3d its good for me  although after the trial runs out they want you to pay for it:(

Some of the guys use blender which is free but i didnt really like and kev uses something different still.

with blender and ac3d  you can make things and add them to the terrain editor and make your own bits for youe own map.

Hopefully one day  Hiteck will let us add some custom parts in our new maps like grass fields  and hangers moved and revertments ect.

Maybe even some static models around the airfields.

be nice to see maybe a pby siting at  a port or some armoured cars at a vbase even just for eye candy
