Dylanarana, im not sure you are aware of that, you can continue to play the game after the free trial is over. OFFLINE mode and 8-player Mode (player hosted servers) is free, only Online game requires a subscription.

The H2H arena is free after your two week trial is complete.

I had a problem with my usb ports so I couldn't use my joystick for a while. Tried playing with just the mouse and it was just impossible. There was next to no control of anything in the game and that was after someone here gave me his mouse settings. I gave up on it.

I've heard there are some people that play just using a mouse and they're quited good. Don't see how they can do it, though.
