Beta 13 sound questions

Hi All,
 I'm running the latest Beta 13 but don't here any of the external sounds from the cockpit.  

I'm sure it's my setup rather than a bug so I've posted it here.

Is there anything special about the sound file properties to hear the effects correctly? (Stereo/Mono, Sample rate etc). Also I have lost track of exactly what stage we are at with relation to sound effects etc Should sounds be in stereo? (i.e should engine etc move between speakers when I look left/right?

Snafu, there was a problem, and the wrong file was linked on the web page.  Try redownloading the file.

I get 3d sounds which move as my pilot's head does with 12 anyways.
