Wireless keyboard recommendation?
« on: November 20, 2006, 08:36:47 AM »
I'm looking for a decent wireless USB keyboard...hopefully under $50. Have blown through a couple of el cheapo box store boards in the last year. Any suggestions?

Thanks ~

Yup, great suggestion: Logitec Internet Pro KB. No batteries, just a standard KB plug, plus the extra buttons that make (internet) life worth living! They do make a wireless version, but I don't know how well it rates. I've had this one for a little over a year (wired version) and paid exactly $12 from Newegg. They want $21 for the no-cord one. It sits a little flatter on the desk than the normal 2x4 board, but you don't notice it much. Buttons and keys all have good feedback and despite a good year of hard use (Half-Life 2, LOMAC, AHII) it hasn't gone funky yet. I picked up an extra one just in case as a backup; no need, and this one has taken a bit of a thumping at times.

So far the only whining heard about the no-cord one is the lack of LEDs. The mouse it comes with is USB optical wireless, in case you need one. Here's the Newegg link.
