Happened to film this a bit earlier today. All in all things were going along reasonably well. As often (well almost always) you reach a point in a defensive 1 on 2 where your "forked"...you can see where I track the 109 in view for a sec before going verical (emelman) to track the pony thru....viewing him as the more seasoned opponent. All of a sudden I'm breaking three of the cardinal rules of "non dueling" ACM....
1) if your flying straight for more then 3 seconds you stop being a fighter and start being a target
2) Reaquire the missing con regardless of complications
3) see rule #1....if he hasnt shown up in 3 seconds he's looking down his gunsite

KNOW the sob's back there somewhere but I wont do the smart thing. These are the moments that put the realities in perspective....just one small lapse in judgement or "brain freeze"....of course I get a "new plane" instead of a pine box....
