HELP! skin ctd

made a skin fer t3h RV8, but when i try to look at it in the hangar my game CTD!:huh  nvr had this happen before does any1 know what could be wrong? when i edited it in Gimp, i got a message about sumthinlike "...can't handle transparencys..." or something like that, but i exported it and it showed up fine in the skin viewer. But when i select the RV8 now and it CTD.:cry :cry
