The Bf 109 G-2 coded MT-201 ("white one") W.Nr 14718 was the mount of maj. Eino Luukkanen in August 1943 at Kymi air base. Maj. Luukkanen was the commander of Lentolaivue 34 (Squadron 34) and 39 out of his 56 kills were achieved with Bf 109 G.
During it's career the MT-201 achieved 32,5 kills in all, the greatest number with the type in Finnish Air Force. It was later the mount of such aces as Hasse Wind and Olli Puro, they both scored many kills with it.
The aircraft survived the war, flew over 230 hours and it was scrapped 1. 10. 1952.
This time I tried different ways to use light (white "light" layers with different opacity) with the skin on the wings, elevators and top of the fuselage.
There are also much more strong lighted panel lines on those places where they are "open": with ailerons, rudder, elevators, shutters etc. Maybe they are too visible, but let's see in the game with the different lights...

Together with couple of reference pictures:

In the photo it is very new on Spring 1943 and it is without the tactical number on the nose.
Maybe one more G-6 and that's it... I think that I can draw this plane while I'm sleeping...
