refresh arena numbers in lobby

it would be great if we could see numbers in the arenas refreshed even if we had to hit a refresh button so we could see when we are able to get into the arena that we want.

tonight i got disco'd and came back and i couldnt get into the arena that i was in...i was flying with a specific group of people.

so i have had to keep hitting quit and then going through the motions to get back.

it would be nice to not have to do this everytime.



really enjoying the new changes guys....especially the new terrain changes.

JB88 i agree with ya %100 its very annoying, not knowing if ya can get in a arena or not even tho it says its full when it isnt.

I don't think Hitech wants a refresh button in there, to prevent ping disruptions by hundreds of folks all at once, trying to get into the arena they want.

That's why when you get dumped you don't return to the lobby screen, he said he built that into the game on purpose to add a delay for when folks try to reconnect. Have to think that if there was a "refresh" it'd be used 100x more often than the "connect" button was.

good point krusty..... putting this button in the game would almost create a DDOS client for the servers.....lol:(

so, to have an autorefresh every say, 30 seconds or so...or better, to be able to get onto a QUE is not possible?

how much data is already sent back and forth in the game?  is it really that much?

good point about the refresh button being bad but as 88 says, even a 30 second autorefresh would be usefull.  i have often wanted one to see when a full H2H room has a slot open. not anything that i would want to take precident over game updates though.
