MAPS ... for the luv of all that holy..MAPS

the same 4 maps.... over and over..... same map in 3 different arenas today.....

over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and

There have got to be some SE maps we can toss into the rotation, or a means to crop a large map down to use in these arenas.

oh.... and possibly rotate between mid and early war arenas to give those arenas a population boost?  And 1 late war arena?  Too many arenas.... not enough pilots.

......

maps...... oh the horror...... the horrorrrr.......

trinity and festaMA!!!!!

trinity at least has narrow front lines, so there will still be fights offpeak.... and the current changes have helped reduce (err stop) milkrunning on large maps i wouldl think :)

Don't forget Doughnut or Pinwheel. They are great maps. Unlike the crummy little maps we have now.

Unforutnately, the way the arenas are set up, and their small populations, large maps are not in our forseeable future.

You put a large map in a arena, you'll be hard pressed to find a good fight.

Now, if you meant taking those large maps and cropping them down to something managemable by our arena populations now, then sure.

And again, I'll whine :cry   that ONE late war and alternating early and mid war arenas might help with our population shortages for those that like early and mid, but rarely enough people there for a fight.

The sliding cap for the late war arena should handle their numbers well enough, but I do know a lot of us are in late because we can find a fight there, but would prefer to fly early or mid at times for different plane match ups.

Thinking about this I wonder if they could just take the larger maps, make back up copies and just deleat a bunch of the fields on the outer edges and move HQ and strat up...  There would be a bunch of unused land but this would give us new/old maps fairly quick without having to make the entire terrain.

Was just a thought.  Doubt it would happen though.
