patch 2

I thought this was supposed to fix the plane cache problem??

Mine still acts the same as it did with patch 1...

Not loading the plane cache, etc....

Plays like a drunk 4 days into DT's if I encounter another plane.

Or are we supposed to go through and edit something?

Just an unqualified idea here Mec.... (ive been on vacation and out of the loop), but have you tried deleting the cache folder and let the game rebuild it?

After I got this latest version it went through the 10-15min process of building the cache.  Is there something else I need to do?  Delete the cache folder?

Well when the game starts now it does not go through the planes as it used to during start up.

Didn't change any settings for the past year or so.

When you first start, check and make sure the caching options didn't get unchecked.
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
Asus M3N-HT mobo
2 x 2Gb Corsair 1066 DDR2 memory

I noticed that too.  I assumed that this was something new.

Thanks much Kev, I guess the lesson here is don't assume the setting don't change between patches. :)

After you start the game at the main screen you should see "Video Settings" (I think) under there is the option to preload textures into system memory.

Its on the clipboard before you go online.

Regards,

Thus, MWL now appears to have "mange" when he plays. Should have only d/ced the software virus protection, not the personal virus protection. I'm sure that hair & skin will grow back eventually.
