I take my Thanksgiving meals seriously. Planning to the max. Got to optimize the gluttony, right?
Just wondering what other people's T-day "strategies" are:
What time to you eat the big meal? How many people for the big meal? If you're married are you doing one big gathering of all the family and in-laws or do you do a lunch then dinner with each family? Alternate years?
"typical" meal of turkey? Or do you do ham or goose or something else?
I'll doing the 3pm meal. Perfect time for a nap afterwards, too. Can sleep from 4-6, wake up, eat leftovers, lounge around and watch TV the rest of the night, making a turkey sandwhich at regular intervals. Sound like too much eating? Well, I'll probably not eat breakfast or lunch in order to make space
Turkey, homemade stuffing, garlic mashed taters, homemade cranberry sauce, collard greens. Pumpkin pie and sweet potato pie for dessert.
I'll put up an AAR on Friday
Happy Thanksgiving to all <
