Give Moil his flippin Wirbelwind already. The poor guys going crazy! I'd only say ok to the 88s in the ground role. AA would be to much like the CV 5" lazer guns, unless they come up with some sort of system that takes some skills to use it in that role.

The 88's would work great for AT & AA work. You say for a ground role only, due to the fact it might be like the 5" guns on the CV.

I disagree, who said it has to be a real easy point-n-click type scenario? HT can always make adjustment for the way the weapon is to be used.

Make it have a fuse or timer, make it that the gun requires a crew of two to fire (took a crew of 10-12 IRL) Things can be adjusted to make it fair and not some dominating weapon on the battlefield. These of course are just ideas I'm throwing on the table.

On a side note, even with the 5" guns on the CV, you'll notice CV's still get killed quite easily bombers & the like (IMO)
