Author Topic: CH Fighterstick gltch (Read 386 times)

I have had this problem for a long time and was wondering if anyone knows if there is something I can do.
I have all CH Product controllers, Stick, Throttle & Rudders.
OK here is what happens.
Whenever I Dive and get going fast, and sometimes just when Im flying fast, straifgt & level.
I lose almost all Input controll with the Fighterstick. It seems as tho, It just stops responding.
To regain controll I have to move the Stick, fast and to extereme, to regain controll. When it does regain controll, it seems a bit sluggish.
I have Calibrated more times than any human should.
Has or does anyone have this problem, and can ya help?
If the controller was bad, I would think it would'nt work at all.
I can fly with it, but it would be nice to not have that happen.
Any suggestions or help would be mucho appreciated.

It sounds more like you're in compression than a stick problem.

How does the stick work at normal speeds?

Its fine for the most part at normal speeds. Its after I get out of compression when it stops responding.

If your 500 + knots in most planes your near compression and your control surfaces will be ineffective.

some planes get that way at 450 +, so it is plane dependent.

What plane are you flying and at what speed do you notice the issue?

Try to pluf the stick through a powered hub

Basicly they claim that their software calibrates better. I had some problems too and this fixed things for me.

Zanth, That just might be what I have to do. Download the CH Software and use it.
straffo, Not sure what you mean, by "pluf the stick" I know what a powered hub is, and that might also do it.
I will give both of these suggestions a try.
