Does DirectX 8.0 work with AH?

Has anyone tried it, as I dont want to to put it on my system and everything goes bang.

Works fine with AH for me.

However, many folks are reporting that it causes Roger Wilco not to work properly.  If you use RW, you may not want to try DX 8.0 yet.

If you are running Win98 and everything is fine with DX 7.0a, then I wouldn't change anything.  The only must-have for DX 8 is if you are running on Win2k.  DX 8 gives a significant performance boost under Win2k.

Im using both diretx8.0 and wilco and it works fine, but this program is sensitive and might work diffrent among diffrent puters.
Im also using the 7.17 ndivia drivers wich is optimized for dx8.0.
Cant really see any diffrence mabye casue its beta drivers ?

Air gaurd are you using windows 2000 or Win 98?

   I am thinking of installing dX8 tonight and want to know if it has any issues.
