Wow!:rofl

But I think I already beat it with my "natural gas" BBQ picture that was environmentally friendly. ;) Don't force me to post that picture again! Those white butt cheeks were blinding white!

First of all Gas grills arent grills. they are Stoves.
If I want to cook on a stove I have a perfectly good one in my kitchen

The only thing more Gay then a gas grill.
Is a Stainless steel gas grill.
That. is the ultimate gay gas grill.
Probably from San Fran
And owned by someone named Manny who talkth with a pronounthed lithp

One more vote for Brinkmann, gas grills are indeed a declaration of gayness.

Uh, Vermont Castings shows only gas grills and one gas smoker on their web site.

Is there a decent smoker/bbq that's not a bullet and doesn't come with a mortgage?

I'd like to cook a couple of racks of spare ribs or a few baby back rib racks flat.

If Brinkmann is the answer, which model?

Hmm, time to barbecue a turkey.

Thanks,

Vermont Casting smoker:
1 burner at low, with my stainless steel bowl of wood chips resting next to it.
Place the racks of ribs on the warming rack. :aok

Close for 12 hours. (Check chips after 6 hours, reload with damp chips if necessary)

(FWIW, I only paid $375 for my BBQ, and it will do 6 racks of ribs stacked on the warming rack, has a rotisserie too)

Oh,the grill I have? Ffor medium sized grills, its rated #1 by Consumer Reports. (VM400xbp Home Depot) which is an exclusive model sold to HD by Vermont Castings (see picture above.)

Brinkmann? is rated 18th. :rofl

I shouldn't laugh, never owned anything but Webbers and Vermont casting. I'm sure people that own Brinkmann are happy and especially happy that they can verify their manliness by having "mann" in the name. :rofl

Never trust anything consumer reports has to say.

they also rate Glidden and Behr paint as being as good as Ben Moores Regal line.
Which I positively know  to be a load of crap

I am convinced they are paid off

Not a question in my mind

Like the saying goes. "anything that can be currupted. will be"

And no matter what way you slice it. Gas grills are gay.

Like I said If I want to cook on a stove I have a perfectly good one in my kitchen

And it has nothing to do with having Mann in the name.

I'ds still rather have a 55 gallon drum cut in half then a gas grill

If having to go through the hassel of lighting wood or charcoal and letting it settle down to a good cooking heat ( that won't last that long ) before cooking, then having to dispose of ashes and all other byproducts of using said fuel, constituts manliness then I am not as manly as some of you.

I like being able to light a gas fire and use it immediately, determine the cooking heat I want to use with a knob ( not black magic ) and be able to turn the dang thing off when I'm through.

I use a gas grill and a gas smoker. They both cook the way I want to cook because I can control the manner in which it cooks. I also use my grill and smoker much more than I would if I had to go through all that it takes to use charcoal or wood.

Before you ask, I have used charcoal and wood for years and poo-pooed the gas grills and smokers. Now that I have tried and used gas ( and electric ) I will never, ever, ever go back to using wood and charcoal unless it is the only thing available to me at the time.

You know, it wont win any awards but my 21" Webber grill and some nice charcoal won me over from gas grills easily!

I can't wait til DREDIOCK sees the fnie carpeting in Rip's garage then edits his list of Gheyness Qualifications  :p
