This happens on the new F4U-4 and the F4U-1C.
Loadout either of those with any combination of bombs or drop tanks and the external stores will drop from the opposite side it is mounted on.
Example, load 2 DTs and drop them individually, the one mounted on the left side drops from the right and the right one drops off the left side.
Sidenote- Lighter bombs seem to release really high off the F4U-1C also.
Going from 1000 to 250 pounders, the release point seems to get higher.
