i believe the changes were to get people fighting. the slum behavior was from the first set of changes, making different arena's. the idea being a lower number of people flying in an arena would create more friendly arenas and a better sense of community.
the latest changes i believe are targeting the hording which was attacking bases where the other horde was not at. this type of behavior takes away from gameplay, as you are basically attacking an empty field with little to no resistance. yes you got easy kills and frequent vulches, but i wouldn't consider that gameplay. some squads like the challenge of coordinating attacks on bases where it is challenging. after all, that was a main reason people said they used to like to take fighter town....because it wasn't as easy.
if you consider actually fighting for stuff slum like behavior, then i guess there is nothing to discuss with you. if you don't want to be penalized by eny. then switch countries. it really is the communities issue when they always try to take the easiest path. it is not HT's problem that people log off one arena and go to another because they want to horde in another arena. if many log off because of overwhelming numbers, causesing your eny to go higher, can you really blame them? who is really at fault? maybe they just wanted to go someplace where they can have competition, not be swarmed by 5 to 1 odds. maybe eny needs to be even more restrictive to keep people from logging off one arena and going to the next for hording purposes.
so now since the community has been losing its way and the gameplay has been following a similar path, HTC has stepped in to try to bring the game back to how it was intended to be, don't be upset, it's just how things are.
