I suppose you could simply take out the fuse for the stereo if it's your car. If you are hitching I suggest you get out and hitch with someone playing the dueling bajos theme from Deliverance. You might enjoy that ride better.

I would sing along for a few hundred miles saying only dah! at the top of my lungs. Then I would make up lyrics that insult people I dont like.
