How could it have possibly been that long ago?  Where were you when you found out John Lennon was dead?

Don't know where I was. He wasn't (isn't) important to me so there was no "trauma" in finding out he was dead.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Was 16 and an aspiring musician.  I think I was just kicking back getting ready for bed and watching some TV, was a slow night.  It was a pretty shocking moment for me as I had always enjoyed his music (didnt really know much about the man then).

The guy that murdered Lennon is still breathing and thats the most pathetic part of the whole affair.

Yoko's still alive. Why isn't anybody mourning that?
