Late war caps and choices
« on: December 09, 2006, 09:31:14 AM »
Please notice the overwelming numbers in LW blue this past week HT.
this is not a personal attack or a criticism, just a point.
Surely caps should be lifted for 2 reasons.

#1 Surely It would show numbers of how many people liked the 2 diff types of gameplay. also giving you an accurate source of results, this BB is not a good source of player opinion btw.

#2 it is kinda unfair to make ppl sit in a lobby or go into an arena of gamestyle they dont find fun because thiers is full due to a cap.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#3 i could understand using the cap method if numbers got to 400+ as this is where people connections start having trouble

HT & Co. believe the greater good for the long-term of the GAME is being served by not letting any one arena have that many people. By now it's obvious it is a non-negotiable point.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

I agree with this, however it has been proven way too many times that MOST of the player are afraid of change and will not give a "new idea" a fair shake unless forced to play with it.

then don't sit in a lobby, try out the new arena, give them a fair shake! Find some fun ! Take a chance on something new !

The arena changes were NEVER due to technical problems with servers or conections. They were due to players "gaming the game" and taking the "combat" out of the combat simulation game. They lower numbers in the seperate arneas were to force people to work together using "stratigy", instead of numbers.
