Originally posted by CpMorgan Gentlemen, and Ladies, I'd like to take this time to mention a seriously informative T.V. program that has been shown lately on the History Channel on Friday nights in my time zone (eastern U.S.). It is called Dogfights. The producers have utilized top line CGI and actual historical accounts of famous air battles from WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War. This week was the story of the development of the Grummen HellCat and its contribution to the Pacific war. The actual battle for Wake Island was graphically reproduced for this episode along with similar HellCat engagements with Zekes. Along with the battles were commentaries from the actual living pilots the flew the missions. I was really impressed with the overall look and design of the program. If you get the opportunity to catch an episode, I believe you will be greatly impressed. CpMorgan
