26k connect

The best I can get on is 26k. Because some old phone lines and a lousy phone company.

Yes I have configured my 56k to the best possible setup but to no avail.

Will a 26k connect not be enough in the near future?

If you have 2 phone lines and two modems you could shotgun them together.  That is if your ISP will allow you 2 connections at a time.  Also, I have no idea what implications shotgunning might have in regards to AH.

Daddog
what ur phne co did to ya was split ur bandwidth in half to give u the second line.
A dirty trick they play.
Basically they take 53k and chop it in half for second line
2 ways out; If you can get broadband, do it, you'll never look back, costing you just as much for second line and dialup isp.
Or; call your phone co and tell them you want dedicated line for second line so you can have full bandwidth.

      Hope it helps
