Seriously, I don't get it. I've watched the cartoon, how does that make me "down with the urban plight"? Does watching star trek make you "tight with the Klingons"? Does reading the bible make you jesus?
You, uh, you know it's just a TV show, right?
I know it's just a show. I don't care much about it or anything related to it. I don't take it seriously... You, on the other hand, have managed to spin a compeltely benign comment into a rediculous whilwind of hidden meaning, inuendo and veiled attack.
Here's the final explanation, in deference to your complete resistence to any sort of reasonable interpretation......You mentioned something about the show, indicating that you were familiar with it, I said 'you're down with urban plight', jockingly, not even mockingly, but jockingly. It was a Joke--a less than serious statement that was not meant as a genuine obervation, but, at worst, an innocent little prod at your TV watching habits. It had less to do with the fact that they're black and more to do with the fact, and this is a stretch, that you might, just might not perfectly fit the profile of the average viewer of this show. And even if you don't, I really don't care and am not trying to make a federal case out of it, which is I think what you want me to make so as to rationalize all these requests for clarification and explanation.
