NFL Thursday nights.

Are any of the Thursday night games going to be on cable this season, or did the NFL network buy all the rights?????  My cable company does not offer the NFL Network, so if that is the case, that sucks.

While we're on the subject the new Monday Night Football sucks bellybutton too.

I think all Thursday night NFL is NFL Network, which my cable co. doesn't offer either.

From the Wiki:

Live NFL games
Main article: Run to the Playoffs
The NFL Network is scheduled to broadcast eight live regular season games during the 2006 season. They will run on either Thursday or Saturday nights, beginning Thanksgiving evening[1]. Five games will air Thursday nights and three on Saturday nights. These games will also air on broadcast TV in the primary media markets of the participating teams, with the home team's market getting the game as long it is sold out 72 hours before game time.

NFL Blackout rule sucks....

And I don't mind MNF.  I have ESPN =).  But I know what you mean.  I think it would have been better for a lot of people to have Sunday nights on ESPN and Mondays on cable.  I'd also love to see the flex schedule work on Monday nights, but that would mean moving the games time from a couple hours to 24+ hours.

I have the NFL Network, and Insight has paid the fee to show the games.

The Bengals Ravens was fun to watch, the Steelers Browns was like having a tooth drilled.

If it local, the NFL allows it to be shown on another local market station for those who don't have their network.  I have Insight too, and the sports package so I get 'em anyway.

My brother in law has DirectTV.  He hates the **** out of it.  Even on a clear day he sometimes doesn't get a signal, even after customer service has been to his house.

edit-actually I'm not sure if it's direct or dishnetwork.  Anyway he talked **** about it after he got it and now he hates the thing.

If he can't get a signal, ne needs to move the dish to a better location. Mine only goes out for a couple minutes during heavy thunderstorms. DirecTv is the 3rd satelite provider I've had (Primestar and Dish). I'll probably switch back to Dish when my contract expires. They have better HD programming.

I went to the Steelers Browns game, Nothing like 55,000 Stiller fans chanting "Cleveland Sucks" So loud you couldnt hear the person next to you. :p
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I have it and can get it but have yet to watch a game.
Mostly ause I keep forgetting there is a thurs night game till Fri morning.

Personally I am against this move.
While I can understand charging to see games that arent normally seen in a particular viewing area like say The Rams Raiders game played on Sunday being seen in NY

I have a problem with paying extra or having to subscribe to a special channel to see games being played on off days. or at an off time
As in Sunday night. Monday night.. literally any day but Sunday.
