Just put a new 750 watt PS in... Question.... Is it always drawing 750 watts or is that under load..... With cpu idling... As in not being used, does it still draw 750 watts? My electric bill is obsence......

Power supplys have an efficiency of something between 65-85%.
So when the comp draws 200Watt the ps will draw 300 max... but more likely 250.

it only draws the wattage as needed /required .
if you pc sits alot doing nothing its better to let in sleep or get shut off ..
the monitor is ussually the biggest power draw.
in my house theres 2 pc's on 24-7 with only the monitors going into sleep mode . this isnt much of a draw on my elec bill .. but then i also replaced 95% of the light bulbs in my house with the energy saving florecents .
