Said Id bring this up here....

I know kill messages have been off a majority of the last several KoTHs.  Just giving some feedback on it.  I dont like it.  Main reason is that in the past we have used it as the referee in the event of an appearent tie between the final two.  Can happen with HO's, collusions, and simutanious augers.

I can recall 3-4 times in the past were the kill message came into play for deciding the round winner, including 1 that involved me.

I personally like Kill Messages on but it seems we are in the minority.

Than again, this place has been kind of quiet.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

I prefer kill messages....

KOTH tries to simulate the MA enviroment in many ways.... like fuel burn, icons etc ... why the difference here?

Maybe ask the crowd for Jan.'s KOTH

Two reasons I can come up with:
1) less clutter in the text buffer.
2) the inaccuracies with us using 'end flight' in flight.

I guess we could try them on a Friday and see what the crowd says.
If the Boss doesn't show up I can't get in too much trouble.
